Cyanoacrylates
Cyanoacrylates (best known as Super/Krazy glues)
bond in seconds through the evaporation process when in contact with air
... making for plenty of embarrassing situations. (We would add a link to "American Pie II" but this is a family site).
Some suggestions on this kind of glue:
- Only use a little!
- This glue needs room temperature or higher to cure
- Place the broken pieces together and drip a small amount of glue at the edge of the crack. Capillary action will draw the glue down into the crack.
- Use acetone or nail polish remover to remove unwanted glue.
