Unglue of the Month

Magic Goo Gone

April's glue of the month is not a glue at all. It is in response to all your questions about removing unwanted glue; the pesky residue from a manufacturer's label, or the result of excess glue seeping from a join, or over- spray from those difficult to control spray adhesives. Goo Gone is a citrus based solvent that works well on any solvent based or rubber based adhesive such as contact cement or spray adhesives. It it relatively non-toxic and smells great. We tried it on cured cyanoacrylate, (Krazy Glue) and did not have much success, nor was it effective on PVA's that have cured. It does however work well on other stains that have nothing to do with glue: but that is for another web site.
